This Returns & Refund Policy applies to products purchased directly from MAXAEM Batteries through maxaembatteries.com for delivery within the United States.
30-Day Returns
We want you to be satisfied with your MAXAEM purchase.
Products purchased directly from MAXAEM may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund, subject to the conditions below.
To be eligible for a return, the product should be returned in its original condition and, where reasonably possible, with its original packaging and accessories.
Products that have been materially damaged, modified, misused or used in a manner inconsistent with their instructions may not be eligible for a change-of-mind return.
Water-Activated Batteries
For safety and product-integrity reasons, water-activated batteries that have been activated or used are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
This does not affect your rights if a product is defective, damaged on arrival or otherwise covered by the MAXAEM Limited Warranty.
If you believe a battery is defective, leaking, damaged, overheating or otherwise unsafe, do not return or ship the battery unless instructed to do so by MAXAEM. Contact us for assistance.
Lighting Products
Lighting products may be returned within the 30-day return period, subject to the conditions above.
Products showing damage resulting from misuse, unauthorized modification or use contrary to the product instructions may not qualify for a change-of-mind return.
How to Request a Return
Before returning a product, please contact MAXAEM Customer Service at:

Please provide your order number, the email address used for the purchase and the reason for the return.
If the return is approved, we will provide instructions regarding the return or disposal of the product.
Products should not be returned to MAXAEM without following the return instructions provided by our customer service team.
Return Shipping
For’ change-of-mind returns’, customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated by MAXAEM.
For products that are defective, damaged on arrival or incorrectly supplied, MAXAEM will provide appropriate return, replacement or disposal instructions and will cover reasonable return shipping costs where a return is required.
Original expedited or specialty shipping charges, if any, are generally non-refundable unless the return results from an error by MAXAEM or as otherwise required by law.
Refunds
Once an approved return has been received and reviewed, or MAXAEM has confirmed that physical return of the product is not required, we will process the applicable refund.
Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method.
The time required for the refund to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card issuer or payment provider.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
If your order arrives damaged, defective or contains an incorrect product, please contact us promptly with your order number and details of the issue.
We may request photographs or video to help us assess the issue.
For battery-related claims, MAXAEM may determine that returning the product is unnecessary or inappropriate for safety reasons.
Defective products outside the 30-day return period may be covered by our 24-Month Limited Warranty.
Exchanges
Where appropriate, MAXAEM may offer a replacement product instead of a refund.
If you wish to exchange a product for a different product or model for reasons unrelated to a defect or MAXAEM error, we may ask you to return the original product and place a new order.
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel or change an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
We process orders quickly and cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or cancelled once fulfillment has begun.
Consumer Rights
This policy does not limit any rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable federal or state law.
